PLEASE NOTE OUR BILLING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective 1st November 2025, Station Road Medical Centre Booval will BULK BULL all Medicare and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card holders for all eligible services.
ALL CONSULTATIONS WILL BE BULK BILLED FOR MEDICARE AND DVA PATIENTS.
Private Fees remain for minor procedures, skin cancer removal, iron infusions, Q-Fever vaccinations etc.
Patients without a valid Medicare or DVA Card
If you do not have a valid Medicare or DVA Card, or your card has expired, you will be privately billed. Full payment will be required on the day. We accept Eftpos, Credit Card or Cash.
Please note: There may be a reduced fee for patients without a valid Medicare card, but this is at the treating Doctor’s discretion.
Private Billing services for all Patients
Pre-employment Medicals, Insurance and Solicitor Reports, Commercial Driver’s License Medicals, Uber Medicals are privately billed as they are not covered by Medicare. You will be advised by your doctor or our reception team about the applicable fee. Full payment will be required on the day. We accept Eftpos, Credit Card or Cash.
Cancellation Policy
Not attending appointments deprives other patients from seeking health care.
Please be advised, if you do not attend 2 or more appointments which are not cancelled a minimum of 2 hours before your appointment time, you will incur a $50 administration fee.
Our aim is not to collect fees but to open otherwise booked appointments and make these available for patients requiring urgent assistance. This enables us to provide timely health care for new and ongoing patients.
MyMedicare
MyMedicare is a voluntary patient registration. Benefits of registering aims to formalise the relationship between patients, their general practice and general practitioner. Patients can access longer telehealth consultations with your GP. Greater continuity of care with your registered practice which has shown to improve health outcomes. You can register for MyMedicare using your Medicare online account or you can ask our friendly receptionists, they are happy to assist with your registration.
